The IAI Board of Directors consists of thirteen (13) elected members, the current IAI President, and a Chairperson (the immediate past IAI President), for a total of fifteen (15) members. These 15 members are entitled to vote on business properly brought before the Board of Directors.

In addition to the fifteen (15) members of the Board of Directors, the Chief Operations Officer of the IAI serves as the official Recording Secretary for the Board of Directors.

The term of office for the thirteen (13) elected members of the Board of Directors is one (1) year for half the Board and two (2) years for the remaining Board. The term commences immediately at the close of each calendar year International Educational Conference.

All members of the Board of Directors and the Recording Secretary must be members in good standing of this Association.
