Educational Sessions and the Exhibit will be held in the Cincinnati Duke Energy Convention Center.
The President's Welcome Reception and some Committee Meetings are scheduled for Sunday August 7, 2016. Lectures and workshops begin on Monday August 8 and continue until the Membership Meeting from 8am-9:30am on Friday August 12, with Lectures and Workshops following until 5pm. The Installation & Closing Banquet will be at 7:00 pm. on Friday and the suggested hotel checkout is Saturday, August 13.
Registration will be $375 (U.S.) for International Association for Identification members and $475 for nonmembers. There would be an estimated additional $250 for workshop fees (based on the sessions that you select). Individual workshops will range from $20 to $100 — dependent on the course content.
The full registration includes all conference materials, the Sunday President's Reception; Monday Breakfast, and Exhibit Grand-Opening Reception; Tuesday-night Poster Presentation/Photo Contest and Reception; Wednesday Dinner/Social; and Friday-night Installation and Closing Banquet. (Note: receptions are not full meals)
The full registration DOES NOT include workshops that require an additional fee, hotel accommodations, or travel.
Daily registration is $130/day and the registrants will receive only the non-fee educational sessions for that day, and entrance to Exhibit. Workshops are additional.
Student registration is $195. To qualify as a Student Registrant, individuals must be full-time college students, with a major in forensic science-related field or law enforcement, taking 12 or more semester hours/credits or the equivalent in quarter hours/credits for undergraduate study and at least 9 semester hours/credits or the equivalent in quarter hours/credits for graduate study. Must provide a letter or transcript from their educational institution stating the number of credits currently being taken. The words "full-time student" will not suffice.
A Student Registrant receives all benefits of the Full Registration with the exception of the Wednesday night Social/Dinner and the Friday night Dinner (tickets may be purchased separately for those events). Students may go to any available class or workshop that interests them, however workshops may have additional fees attached.
A Social Registration is for the Spouse/Guest of a regular registrant. The registration fee is $225 and includes the Sunday President's Reception, Monday Breakfast and Opening Ceremony, Tuesday-night Poster Presentation/Photo Contest and Reception, Wednesday-night Dinner & Social, and Friday-night Installation Banquet. NOTE: Individuals must be 21 years of age in order to attend the Wednesday-night Dinner & Social.
