This is a part-time position without insurance benefits; work hours will not exceed 29 per week. Hourly rate is commensurate with education and work experience.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for fulfilling both teaching and non-teaching activities in both lecture and laboratory classes. Must be willing to work flexible hours and work well in a laboratory setting. Prepare materials for effective instruction of students; set up lab for various laboratory exercises; instruct students in laboratory procedures; evaluate student progress; request and maintain supplies and equipment.
Required Qualifications
Applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in a closely related field from a regionally accredited post-secondary institution. Applicant must have 3 years of full-time Forensic Science experience within the past 7 years.
Preferred Qualifications
Teaching experience; active participation in appropriate professional/occupational organizations; excellent written and verbal communication skills, human relations skills and computer skills preferred. A master’s degree is preferred.
