IAI 2018 Educational Program Proposal Information

Thank you for your interest in participating as an instructor in the 2018 IAI Educational Program! Below are answers to some frequently asked questions to help you prepare to submit your proposal.

What is required to submit a proposal?

You will submit your proposal on line via the IAI website. You will be required to include a title, short abstract (100 words or less), and a short bio (100 words or less). You will also be asked to submit a time frame and primary discipline category for your presentation. If you are proposing a workshop, you will be asked more detailed questions about materials and other arrangements.

When do I have to submit my proposal?

Proposals for lectures and workshops must be submitted between January 1 and February 28, 2018. Poster proposals will be accepted Jan through May 2018.

When will I be informed of my proposal acceptance?

All proposals will be reviewed by a conference committee comprised of Science and Practice Committee members and the Educational Coordinator. The quality of the presentation as well as the overall program content goals are the primary considerations made during the program vetting process. All lecture and workshop presenters will be informed of their submittal status by April 30, 2018. Poster presenters will be informed periodically, but no later than July 1, 2018.

If you have any other questions, please contact the Educational Program Coordinator, Lesley Hammer, at iaiedplanner@gmail.com.
