Crime Scene Training
- Online courses will be accepted for recertification only if they are previously approved by the Board
- College and university courses requiring student admission and registration are not approved. College and university training programs offered for general attendance not requiring student admission and registration may be accepted if previously approved by the Crime Scene Certification Board
- Latent fingerprint comparison/evaluation, AFIS, ALPS, and 10-print classes will not be accepted as credit toward crime scene certification
- ANAB assessor training is not accepted for certification purposes
- Certification examination book review courses do not count towards the number of required hours for the various crime scene certification programs
- Crime scene supervision or leadership courses are not accepted for certification purposes
